TASKFORCE ON EQUITY OVERVIEW
Through a specially designed and facilitated series of small-group exercises, guest speakers, and facilitated conversations over six months, you will enhance your personal leadership capacity, build connections with a diverse group of influencers, and explore some of the city’s thorniest issues of equity and justice.
Your work on the taskforce culminates in a final project—recommendations on policy and projects for Houston’s BiCentennial, which will be presented to a panel of prominent civic and business leaders.
The panel will be positioned to support launching the projects and advocacy efforts.
This is a journey of action, shared experience, growth, and transformation, supported by small-group coaching and connection with peers.
